Abhitha Alfred is a Vancouver based visual development artist specializing in background design. She is a recent graduate of Capilano University, where she earned a diploma in 2D Animation and Visual Development.

Born and raised in Bangalore, India, she holds a bachelor’s degree in

3D Animation and VFX.

After graduating, she spent nearly two years working across creative roles including concept art, character design, graphic design, video editing, and motion graphics.

She later moved to Canada to further develop her focus in 2D animation and visual development. With a strong foundation in 3D and a deep interest in colour, composition, and storytelling, she is particularly drawn to creating immersive and mood driven environments.

She is passionate about visual development and colour design.

Currently based in Vancouver, she is focused on building and refining her portfolio as she continues to grow as a background artist.
